A Taste of My Mom's Childhood - Macau

Macau, a place where my mother grew up before she moved to England for University and got married in Hong Kong.  Every so often, I would take a visit to Macau, not only visiting my grandma and relatives but also to spurge myself with the food you could only find in this city.
It's a hot summer day, some ice cream would be wonderful, actually, sorbet would probably be more refreshing.  Unfortunately, I am not a fan of sorbet......what should I do?? Suddenly, I spotted Sorvete Gelato Cafe.  This cafe has been around for ages in which my mom used to go there everyday after school.

MOP18 for 3 scoops, what a deal!.  Please bare in mind though, they aren't the kind of ice cream with a creamy & chewy texture but the old fashion kinds (more or less icy and falls apart when you spoon into it.)I had sesame, ginger (which was pretty good) and taro (not that strong in flavor).  Overall I think it's not bad, maybe because I could step into my mother's shoes and picture myself indulging in this summer delight with my friends.
